Sadly we announce the passing of Aunty Doody Wells on Monday May 5th in Whakatu

Kua hinga te waikohukohu ki runga Maungatapu
E Kui, e moe kia tokia to kiri e te kohu i tuku iho
Ka hotuhotu, ka tangitangi te nanawa i to wehenga

The watery mists fall upon Maungatapu
My elder, rest, let you skin be moisten by the descending mist
The heart it sobs it weeps at you leaving us

Our love and thoughts are with the whanau of Aunty Doddy Wells (nee Hemi)

She was the oldest of us all, and now we weep for her as she sleeps.
